Michael Ryan Bilderback was born Sept. 22, 1980, in Danville, the son of Melvin E. “Gene” and Darlene D. (Cook) Bilderback. He passed away Sunday, Feb. 5, 2012, at his residence in Anderson.
Michael graduated from Lebanon High School with the Class of 1999 and attended Indiana State University.
For most of his career Michael enjoyed working as a server and bartender at several different restaurants. One of his favorite pastimes was mixed martial arts, specializing in jujitsu. His proudest accomplishment was becoming the father of his son, Austin Bilderback. They shared a very tight bond, both having a passionate love for mixed martial arts.
Michael is survived by his parents, Gene and Darlene Bilderback of Lebanon; sisters, Tammy Greene of Lebanon and Amy Turpin and brother-in-law Tim Turpin of Plymouth; and niece and nephews, Aubree, Ethan and A.J. Greene.
Family and friends will gather on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of his funeral service at 2 p.m. in the Strawmyer & Drury Mortuary, 2400 N. Lebanon St., Lebanon. Michael will be laid to rest in the Brownswonder Cemetery in Lebanon.
