Racheal E. (Ambrose) Stinson, 25, died June 22, 2012, at Community Hospital Anderson as the result of injuries received in an auto accident.

She was born Jan. 21, 1987, in Anderson, the daughter of Richard and Brenda (Dodd) Ambrose. She resided in the Anderson/Alexandria area her entire life.

Racheal was a graduate of Highland High School, class of 2005. She graduated from Ball State University in 2009 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism. She was a freelance journalist and a substitute teacher in the Alexandria Community Schools, currently employed at Kmart in Elwood. She was an avid Star Wars fan.

Survivors include her husband, Joao Stinson of Alexandria; parents, Richard and Brenda Ambrose of Anderson; brother, Tyler Ambrose of Anderson; sister, Sarah Ambrose of Anderson; maternal grandmother, Margaret Dodd of Anderson; paternal grandmother, Rita Ambrose of Anderson; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Also surviving are her four-legged companions, Coco, Leia and Macey.

Racheal was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Robert Dodd.

A Mass of Christian burial will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday at St. Ambrose Catholic Church, 2801 Lincoln St., Anderson, officiated by Father Robert Williams. Interment will follow at Park View Cemetery, Alexandria.

Friends may call at the church two hours before the service.

Memorial contributions are suggested, through the funeral home, to Helping Hands Cay Care Center in Anderson
