In 1999, Middletown Fall Creek Township Library entered into a contractual relationship with Adams Township. Residents were given the option to use this library or Pendleton’s, under the same agreement.

The township trustee then paid each library a set amount per year per family. In the years since, the fee has risen 66 percent. While Middletown accepted the additional money, our library was not the one that sought the increase.

Adams Township residents must take whatever actions best suit their needs and their financial situation. We have enjoyed our relationship with our Adams Township patrons. It has been a pleasure to know and serve them.
