Purdue unveiled six start times for its 2019 football season Thursday.

The Boilermakers will open the season Aug. 30 at Nevada at 9:30 p.m. in a game that will air on CBS Sports Network.

The following week, on Sept. 7, Purdue will open at home against Vanderbilt at Ross-Ade Stadium in a noon kickoff. The game will air on the Big Ten Network.

Other start times announced incuded a home game against TCU on Sept. 14 (7:30 p.m., Big Ten Network), an Oct. 5 game at Penn State (noon, ABC/ESPN/ESPN2) an Oct. 12 homecoming game against Maryland (noon, TV TBD) and an Oct. 19 game at Iowa (noon, TV TBD).

Purdue is 13-13 in two seasons under current head coach Jeff Brohm. The Boilermakers upset Big Ten champion Ohio State last season before ending up 6-7 with a loss to Auburn in the Music City Bowl. In 2018, Purdue posted the 11th-ranked passing offense in the nation and the 29th-ranked offense in the nation overall.


The Purdue men’s basketball team will play at Marquette on Nov. 13 in the Gavitt Games, the Big Ten announced Thursday. The start time has yet to be determined.

Butler will host Minnesota in the Gavitt Games at Hinkle Fieldhouse on Nov. 12.
